These Terms are the agreement between you and Stool Quest ("we", "us") for your use of the Stool Quest game, on the web or as an installed app. By playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the game. Your privacy is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
Stool Quest is intended for players aged 13 and over. We ask your date of birth in a neutral age check when you first open the game; players who indicate they are under 13 are placed in a privacy-safe mode (see the Privacy Policy).
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Stool Quest for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit the game or its content except as allowed by law. All game content — art, music, characters, text and code — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
You can play anonymously. If you link an email to save your progress, you're responsible for keeping access to that email secure, since the sign-in code is sent there. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account screen.
The game may include virtual items and currency (such as coins, gems, boosters and lives). These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you for use within the game only. We may change, manage or remove virtual items at any time. Any purchases, when available, are handled by the app store (Apple or Google) under their terms; virtual items are generally non-refundable except where required by law or store policy.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules.
Stool Quest is in active development. Features, content and economy may change, and the game is provided as-is during this period. We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the game.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
We may update these Terms as the game evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
